PULSION grants PiCCO and CeVOX license to DIXTALIntegration of PULSION’s technologies into DIXTAL’s patient monitoring systems / DIXTAL’s excellent market position in Brazil promises faster market development
Munich, August 16, 2007 – PULSION Medical Systems AG, worldwide market leader in minimally invasive cardiovascular monitoring of critically ill patients, and DIXTAL, Brazilian market leader in multiparameter patient monitoring, have reached agreement on a worldwide non-exclusive licence which allows PULSION’s technologies, PiCCO and CeVOX, to be integrated into DIXTAL patient monitoring systems. PULSION's CeVOX-Technology offers a minimally invasive method for the continuous monitoring of the body’s oxygen balance, making it possible to identify acute risks to the cardiovascular system in critically ill patients at an early stage. About PULSION: The business unit PULSION Critical Care, covering intensive care medicine, perioperative medicine and emergency medicine, focuses on the management of cardiovascular and organ functions of critically ill patients.
